Fees
The program fee covers some in-country costs and is 100% tax deductible for U.S. residents.
The program fee covers: pre-trip support; airport pickup upon arrival; orientation; most meals; hotels/ lodging; development trainings; on-going in-country support from experienced, and well-traveled GAP staff. All Global Autism Project staff on these trips volunteer their time so as to keep costs as low as possible.
After you've been accepted into the program, you'll gain access to webinars that show you exactly how to execute a successful fundraising campaign. You'll be able to collect donations quickly and easily by setting up a page at www.firstgiving.com/globalautismproject and we'll support you in reaching your goals. SkillCorps members pay for their own airfare, travel, VISA, and any immunizations. You may approximate additional travel costs according to the summary below.
- Airfare: Airfare varies based on your starting location, destination location, and the time of year. You can determine the flight cost by going to a travel website such as FlyForGood, Expedia, Orbitz, Vayama, or by going directly to the websites of airlines.
- Visa: You will need to obtain a visa before your trip to enter India. You may review the costs on the India Consulate websites in your country. For Peru and Kenya, Visas can be obtained at the airport upon your arrival.
